Crested or Changeable hawk-eagle

The crested hawk-eagle or changeable hawk-eagle is a bird of prey species of the family Accipitridae. Changeable hawk-eagles breed in the Indian subcontinent, mainly in India and Sri Lanka, and from the southeast rim of the Himalaya across Southeast Asia to Indonesia and the Philippines. This is a bird occurring singly (outside mating season) in open woodland, although island forms prefer a higher tree density. It builds a stick nest in a tree and lays a single egg.

क्रेस्टेड बाज़-ईगल या चेंजेबल बाज़-ईगल, एसिप्रिट्रिडे (शिकार प्रजाति) परिवार की का एक पक्षी है।

भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप में मुख्य रूप से भारत और श्रीलंका में, और दक्षिण पूर्व एशिया से इंडोनेशिया और फिलीपींस के दक्षिण-पूर्व हिमालय के किनारे ये नस्ल पाए जाते हैं। यह खुली जंगलों में अकेले उड़ने वाला पक्षी है। यह एक पेड़ में एक छड़ी के आकर वाले घोंसले बनाता है और एक अंडा देता है।
